I got my first camera as a Christmas gift in 2003 and was immediately hooked. I barely put it down and about a year and a half later started shooting my first editorial work.
In 2006-7 I sold all my digital gear, bought two Hasselblad film cameras and a round the world plane ticket. I hoped that by forcing myself to shoot film I would develop a more patient, considered approach to photography and greater technical skills.
I have since carried the lessons from that trip over to digital, shooting mostly panoramic landscapes, travel and wildlife, but have recently become interested in street and portrait photography.
